Something we think people might like more than the main character and heroine in movies or books is when the ultimate villain is female because there’s much more wicked intent and manifested cruelty behind a villainess’ secret agenda. Even though no woman should wish to be like any of these evil women on our list of villain inspired jewelry, there is still something to admire them for like their tenacity and alluring beauty (for only some of them of course).
- Ursula and Mikimoto Pearl Earrings
Jealousy is never cute… unless you’re wearing this pair of black pearl earrings with a pave diamond setting in tentacle-like 18-karat white gold swirls. For obvious reasons, these Mikimoto pearls reminded us of the disgustingly enchanting octopus sorceress, Ursula, from Disney’s 1989 animated film, The Little Mermaid. She “helps” Ariel trade her precious voice for a pair of human legs so she could have the heart of Prince Eric on land, which later Ursula attempts to sabotage as she had always been jealous of Ariel’s beauty and fabulous voice. Her way of defeating Ariel was to steal Prince Eric from her and cause perpetual sorrow in Ariel’s life. That of course doesn’t work and the end of the film is happy. You, yourself can have a happy ending as well with these pearl earrings.
- GoGo Yubari and Tacori Sonoma Mist Drop Earrings
One of the most bada** chicks in Kill Bill Vol. 1 is none other than 17-year-old GoGo Yubari, whose weapon and fight scene with the bride is difficult to forget, as are these Tacori drop earrings from their Sonoma Mist collection that look similar to the flail she swings around. They are made from sterling silver and with round diamonds in a pave setting and have a push back application for more comfort and support. Although GoGo’s scenes are short-lived in the movie (pun totally intended), her beloved memory is nothing short of a strong, determined woman who fights for what she believes in, even though she dies trying. Also, just for the sake of remembering, the part where she cries blood will forever be burned into everyone’s mind because it was scary.
- Medusa and Officina Bernardi Bracelet
Let’s hope that the only stone you turn into after staring into Medusa’s horrible face is a diamond after checking out this Medusa inspired bracelet by Officina Bernardi. Although there are no diamonds on the sterling silver bead bracelet, it is still reminiscent of the swirling and snapping poisonous snakes on head of this Greek mythological monster and an absolute statement piece whether it is worn alone or with other accessories. This bracelet not only looks delicate but also hardcore.
- Mystique and Dilamani Venice Ruby and Diamond Pendant
Mystique played by the awesome Jennifer Lawrence in X-Men: First Class, Days of Future Past, and Apocalypse, has made her way back into one of our favorite villains as the films show her before she went rogue. She had always been a cool character since her look was so different than everyone else’s. She is a blueberry blue with sparkling scales on her skin and has intense red hair that resembles the color of blood. This pendant by Dilamani has beautiful rubies embedded in what looks like the rock they derived from giving it an earthy atmosphere. It is surrounded by a halo of clear, round diamonds on 14-karat yellow gold. It is luxurious and rich in color as is Mystique.
