This last Sunday, the stars were out in full-force to celebrate the best in this year of cinematic history. While the night wasn’t full the surprises and snafus that defined last year’s ceremony, the 2018 Oscars were still full of the Hollywood glitz and glamour that we all have come to look forward to.
So, just like we did a few weeks ago with the Golden Globes, here are some of our very favorite Oscar night jewelry trends, along with some tips for creating your very own red carpet ready looks today!
Oscar Fave #1: Kelly Marie Tran
First up, Star Wars: The Last Jedi star Kelly Marie Tran looked fabulous wearing a glamorously embellished Jenny Packham gown, which was brilliantly paired with these simply stunning diamond drop style earrings from Chopard. Brilliant, yet still subtle enough to not pull attention from her dress, Tran’s Chopard diamond earrings perfectly reflected the star’s charismatic and casual on-screen presence.

Subtle but significant, this sort of asymmetrical earring look is a great way to defy conventions and care-free while still appearing absolutely glamorous. Great for any dressy situation, we suggest going with a set of earrings – such as the ones shown above from Swarovski – that are relatively simplistic, and that allow your non-jewelry outfit the attention it surely deserves.
Covered in Swarovski’s legendary crystal stones, these drop style earrings are long-lasting, bring a unique glamour, and, for those of us who maybe can’t afford Chopard, are attended by a impressively reasonable price tag as well.
Oscar Fave #2: Nicole Kidman
The star of BMX Bandits, Nicole Kidman stunned with this charming bow-inspired ensemble. Dress by Armani Privé and earrings by Harry Winston, Kidman’s look was a deft combination of classic Hollywood glamour with streamlined, modern sophistication. Taking Kelly Marie Tran’s subtle earrings sophistication to the next level of extravagance, these Harry Winston pieces featured nearly 24-carats of diamond glimmer and glow.

For an unforgettable fashion jewelry statement, chandelier earrings are a fabulous way to bring an exceptional level of elegance to any of your ensemble – even if you might not have the breathless sophistication of Nicole Kidman.
Seen above from Officina Bernardi, Supreme, and Tacori, these chandelier style earrings (model #’s COMET-EW, SJ154704, and FE012) are made with high-quality materials such as 18-karat gold, sterling silver 925, and hand-placed white diamonds that are basically guaranteed to bring a lifetime of natural glow and style. Additionally, as displayed above by Nicole, chandelier diamond earrings have the added bonus of making your neck appear elongated and regal.
Oscar Fave #3: Gal Gadot
Most recent portrayer of the titular Wonder Woman in the movie Wonder Woman, IDF-defender Gal Godot made a wonder-filled plash on this year’s red carpet with this one-of-a-kind pendant necklace from Tiffany & Co. Covered with 17 aquamarine stones and over a thousand diamonds. Dubbed the “Blue Ice,” Gadot’s necklace was the definition of statement necklace and only added to the over-the-top glamour of her already stunning Givenchy gown.*

Like Deep Blue Something once said, “what about Breakfast at Tiffany’s?” and while we can’t all be Gal Gadot-lightly, you can still capture some of Gal’s breathtaking fine jewelry beauty with your very own diamond statement necklace. Shown here from Hearts on Fire, MontBlanc, along with Roman and Jules, these three statement-making necklaces are a sure-fire way to capture attention with a high-fashion style all your own.
Parts of Roman and Jules’ Color Label, Hearts on Fire’s Beloved, and MontBlanc’s Boheme lines, these three diamond necklaces are filled with a wondrous (woman) sparkle that is guaranteed to make hearts race as fast as Gisele Yashar in The Fast and The Furious or Gadot avoiding talking about her IDF past.
